Application Questions
Why do you want to participate in the 2026 Yukon River Educational Exchange?
What makes you a good fit for this program?
Think of a time you visited another community, or met somebody from a Culture other than your own. How did these experiences impact your understanding of other perspectives?
One of the responsibilities as a participant of the Educational Exchange is to share your experiences with your community when you return home. If you were selected to participate in this program, how would you share what you learned (i.e. radio interview, community presentation, writing an article, creating an art piece, etc.)?
This trip will include long travel days, boat and plane rides, outdoor activities, and possibly camping. You will be away from home for more than a week, which may involve adjusting to a different environment, limited access to modern comforts, and engaging in physically active and sometimes challenging situations. Are you comfortable with these conditions and willing to participate fully?
